After some delay the dvd has now been posted. It has been mastered according to the two main parts of the show so that the main menu shows the two halfs with a further sub-menu for this first part so that you can go directly to the band you want. Thanks for your patience to those of you who ordered a DVD. And thanks to everyone who contributed their time in the final push to get it out. |

Yes, after some sterling work by the team, the DVD mastering has finished and is being manufactured this week. We hope to start sending then out on Monday (29th June). It has been mastered according to the two main parts of the show so that the main menu shows the two halfs with a further sub-menu for this first part so that you can go directly to the band you want. Part of the DVD process is that the editing and post production will also be done by pupils and getting time to do this has been difficult. We do expect though that the final production will be finished in the next week and DVDs manufactured in the following week. Apologies for the delay but we hope you understand that it is a great opportunity for pupils to learn about the entire process. |

The concert on Sunday the 29th March at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall is going to be filmed and released as a DVD. Under the direction of Glasgow-based film producer, Ben Pomphrett, students from East Renfrewshire schools will do all filming and editing. As well as the actual concert the DVD will include some film from the rehearsals and backstage at the concert.
With the support of East Renfrewshire Council this DVD is being produced by Friends of East Renfrewshire Schools Music and is available using an order form which can be obtained from the concert hall programme sellers or donwloaded very soon from here. Please complete this form with your address and the number of DVDs you would like. The DVDs will be posted to you as soon as they are ready, 6-8 weeks after the performance. They cost £7.50 each which includes postage. |

Thanks to everyone who supported us at the Open Rehearsal on Saturday. It was a great day and we managed to raise over £900. Thanks to everyone who donated items for the tombola, and to everyone who came and bought a ticket. This money will go towards helping fund trips and special events for students. |
